MANUEL FACCHINI is all about mix and match. It is a reflection about multiplicity and about contemporary femininity. Essential colours palettes, geometrical shapes, and a robotic attitude make these brand strict and light at the same time.

Manuel Facchini was born in Verona and studied at Central Saint Martins in London. After working for Anglomania and Fendi Jeans, he covered Byblo’s artistic director position. In 2015, he launched his own fashion house, expressing his desire to play with art, iconography and mixing. At the heart of the brand there is an interest in subcultures, history and technology. Gothic, Shakespearian references and Victorian England elements cohabit with geometrical cuts, technical fabrics and high-tech. The idea is to promote made in Italy through a technical know-how and art.

Facchini’s bet is to create a link between Gothic Rock and sport aesthetic, associating these two apparently distant universes in a graphical way. His purpose is to revisit them to offer a conceptually new vision. Autumn/Winter 2016-2017 collection is an homage to the gothic architect Michael Hansmeyer and to the artist Richard Sweeney. Its purpose is to create a link between virtual technique and hand-work. Michael Hansmeyer is specialised in drawing helped by computer’s algorithms while Richard Sweeney is well known for his refined paper sculptures. It is a collection at the edge between modernity and passed, between craftsmanship and high technology.
