Post&Co was born in Tuscany — in a small artisan workshop in Mercatale in Val di Pesa, in the heart of the Florentine leather district, where handcrafted leather goods have been made for generations.
The story begins in 1972, when Giovanni Forzieri founded Art-Moda, producing artisan leather belts and accessories for some of the most prestigious English retailers. His two sons, Simone and Massimiliano, grew up surrounded by hides, buckles, and the unmistakable smell of Tuscan leather. They trained in local tanneries, mastered the craft of Italian leather working, and in 1990 joined the family business — bringing with them a new vision for what handmade leather goods could be.
