Description

Simeon Farrar is a London-based fashion label founded by artist Simeon Farrar in 2004, rooted in graphic art and mixed media. The brand is known for expressive T-shirts and sweatshirts that blur the line between fashion and art. Launched at London Fashion Week, the label began as a direct extension of Simeon’s artwork, with early pieces featuring screen printing, hand painting and appliqué. This artistic approach remains central to the brand today, evolving season by season through new graphic techniques, hand treatments and experimental processes. The brand has received multiple New Generation awards sponsored by Topshop and is now stocked in over 50 stores worldwide. Simeon Farrar has also staged in-store art performances at Selfridges, Liberty, Harvey Nichols and Isetan Tokyo, reinforcing the brand’s strong connection to contemporary art and culture. In 2012, Simeon Farrar expanded the brand universe with Black Score, a fast-moving, graphic-driven label rooted in political commentary, music and youth culture, offering a more immediate and playful response to contemporary culture. Across both labels, themes of romance, optimism and playfulness remain constant. Equally drawn to words and images, Simeon continues to work as a visual artist and spoken-word performer, allowing both language and visual art to inform each collection.
