Prohibition of Unauthorized Photography and Recording of Exhibits
Photography, video recording, live streaming, and audio recording may be permitted within the event venue. However, with respect to exhibitors’ displays, products, prototypes, distributed materials, demonstrations, explanatory materials, presentations, videos, audio content, and any other exhibits, visitors shall not photograph, record, reproduce, distribute, retransmit, publish, or use such materials for commercial purposes without the prior consent of the exhibitor or the Organizer.
Visitors must comply with any notices indicating that photography or recording is prohibited, as well as any request or instruction from exhibitors, venue staff, or the Organizer to cease such activities.
By attending the event, visitors acknowledge and agree that:
- Any photographs, recordings, or other materials obtained in violation of these terms, regardless of media format, shall be promptly deleted, surrendered, or destroyed upon request of the Organizer or the relevant exhibitor.
- Visitors shall be solely responsible for any claims, damages, losses, costs, or disputes arising from unauthorized photography, recording, use, publication, or distribution of materials, and shall indemnify and hold harmless the Organizer and affected exhibitors to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- The Organizer shall not be liable for any disputes, conflicts, intellectual property claims, privacy claims, or other matters arising between visitors and exhibitors, except to the extent caused by the Organizer’s willful misconduct or gross negligence.
In addition, visitors shall comply with any separate photography and recording restrictions applicable to designated areas, sessions, exhibits, demonstrations, or presentations, whether posted on-site or announced by the Organizer.
Consent to Photography, Recording, and Media Usage
The Organizer and its authorized representatives, contractors, media partners, and affiliates may photograph, film, livestream, and audio record the event venue and surrounding areas, including participants attending the event.
Such photographs and recordings may include participants’ names, likenesses, images, voices, statements, and appearances.
All copyrights and other intellectual property rights in such photographs, recordings, broadcasts, and edited materials shall belong exclusively to the Organizer or the respective rights holder designated by the Organizer. Participants waive any claim to ownership or compensation relating to such materials.
Participants acknowledge and agree that the Organizer may use, reproduce, publish, distribute, display, transmit, edit, archive, and otherwise exploit such photographs and recordings, without further notice or compensation, for advertising, publicity, marketing, promotional activities, websites, social media, video distribution, publications, press materials, event reports, and other business purposes of the Organizer and its affiliated companies worldwide and for an unlimited period.
Participants who do not wish to appear in photographs or recordings should notify the Organizer in advance or contact event staff on-site. While the Organizer will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests, it cannot guarantee that participants will not be incidentally captured in crowd scenes or other event recordings.
