TRANOÏ x CANEX :
A UNIQUE PARTNERSHIP

TRANOÏ is a B2B ready-to-wear and accessories trade show dedicated to fashion professionals, presenting a selection of french and international designers during Paris and Tokyo Fashion Weeks. CANEX PRESENTS AFRICA (supported by Afreximbank) offers a unique platform for emerging African designers, focusing on mentoring, skills transfer and access to international markets. The initiative aims to strengthen manufacturing capacity and local expertise, while integrating African fashion into the global value chain. 

 For the past six seasons, TRANOÏ has accompanied CANEX presents Africa offering African designers the opportunity to present their collections in a dedicated pavilion during  TRANOÏ PARIS and TRANOÏ TOKYO trade shows, thus benefiting from exceptional visibility on one of the world's most prestigious fashion stages. 

 From April 15 to May 15, TRANOÏ and CANEX are joining forces to launch a call for applications to showcase 15 African designers at TRANOÏ TOKYO on September 3 and 4 , and 20 designers at TRANOÏ PARIS from October 2 to 5. 

Out of the twenty designers attending TRANOÏ PARIS, three will be selected by a jury of industry experts to take part in an exclusive fashion show at the Palais Brongniart.

 EXCLUSIVE SUPPORT FOR SELECTED DESIGNERS 
 Each selected designer will benefit from partial support from CANEX, including a choice of : Round-trip airfare (economy class) to Paris or Tokyo or On-site accommodation 

PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS

  • Be of African origin (or from the diaspora) and/or based in Africa
  • Have been in the fashion industry for at least one year and have designed two collections of ready-to-wear and/or accessories (shoes, jewelry, bags, etc.) for women or unisex
  • Have already sold collections through wholesale, e-commerce, or retail and have a secure production capacity
  • Be able to demonstrate an eco-responsible approach in your collections.
