CANEX PRESENTS AFRICA AT TRANOÏ PARIS

Are you an African or Diaspora designer ready to take your brand global? Applications are open from 30 April to 31 May 2026 for TRANOÏ PARIS, 1–4 October 2026.

ABOUT CANEX presents Africa

CANEX presents Africa is the market access flagship intervention of the Creative Africa Nexus (CANEX) programme, an initiative of African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) dedicated to promoting the creative and cultural industries of Africa and its diaspora.
Through strategic partnerships with leading international trade platforms, CANEX presents Africa connects African and Diasporan designers, brands, and creative enterprises with global buyers, distribution networks, and institutional partners.
The programme has supported designers across accessories and ready-to-wear products at international events including TRANOÏ Paris and Tokyo, building a pipeline of commercially ready African creative brands with sustained access to global markets.

ABOUT TRANOÏ PARIS

TRANOÏ, the leading B2B platform for ready-to-wear and accessories held during Paris Fashion Week, is once again partnering with CANEX to spotlight exceptional designers from Africa and the diaspora on one of the world's most prestigious fashion stages.
For seven consecutive seasons, this collaboration has placed selected designers within a dedicated pavilion at TRANOÏ PARIS, offering direct access to international buyers, media, and distribution networks.
This edition expands its reach to embrace the full breadth of African and Afro-descendant creative talent.

WHO CAN APPLY

This call is open to designers who meet the following criteria:
  • Are of African or Caribbean descent including nationals from the following Latin American countries: Colombia, Brazil, the Dominican Republic, and Panama
  • Have a minimum of three years of professional experience in the fashion industry
  • Have developed at least two ready-to-wear and/or accessories collections (clothing, shoes, jewellery, bags, or related categories) for women or unisex markets
  • Can provide complete professional sales materials including a lookbook, line sheet, and price list
  • Have demonstrated prior sales experience in wholesale, e-commerce, or retail, and can evidence reliable production capacity
  • Are fully available and committed to participate in TRANOÏ PARIS from 1–4 October 2026
  • Are prepared for international buyer engagement and distribution conversations
  • Can articulate an eco-responsible or sustainable dimension within their collections and brand practice
