At Pé de Chumbo, everything begins with the thread.
Founded in 1995 by Alexandra Oliveira in Guimarães, the brand has developed a distinctive language through experimentation with yarns, materials and different textile structures.
In every collection, the fabric is not selected: it is created. Threads are mixed, joined and layered in an almost artisanal process until they acquire texture, volume and movement.
Between strength and delicacy, structure and movement, thread becomes fabric, fabric meets the body and the garment comes to life. The brand has regularly presented at Portugal Fashion and Milano Fashion Week, as well as at international exhibitions.
